My opinion:
I’ve been meaning to get to watch this movie since the first time I did a search of Guillermo del Toro’s creations. That director who gave us Pan’s Labyrinth makes really interesting movies:they are out of the ordinary, not just your typical horror flick. He’s like, M. Night Shyamalan (but this guy loves twisted, surprise endings).
Although watching means I have to both watch and read subtitles (the language is not English, of course) it’s still a pleasure to watch. The story slowly builds up so that you are drawn to it more than ever, before you started watching. There is always scary anticipation in every turn.
Verdict: I love it. Really. Just like how I loved Pan’s Labyrinth and how I’m now obsessed with getting my own copy of it (in expensive DVD). I highly recommend it. Guillermo del Toro really is a very very superb director. You won’t be disappointed.

i love this movie, i think Del Toro is something of a mastermind when it comes to his movies. the shocking fact is working in cinemas i have seen many many people walk out of the start of this film and as for there money back because ‘it has words in it’ there are a lot of people who will not watch a film with subtitles in, do they think only English spoken films are good.
