I’d like to share with you guys, my most recently added toy to the toy collection: a battery powered charger.

I’ve seen this around the net, while looking for a sort of portable charger without the need for a wall outlet. I’m aware that there are solar chargers out there, but of course I want something cheaper than that. And so, I found this one.
You might be asking, why there are two of them on the pic. I own them both. Here’s the story:
About a few months ago, I stumbled upon a similar item being sold on eBay.ph. It’s a battery powered charger, but it only has the adapter for Nokia phones. Back then, I still had the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic (also bought online) and so it seemed like a real nice idea to get one. So I did. But then, time came that I grew tired of thhe 5300, and in time I put it up for sale. The battery powered charger left unused from then on. I’ve decided that Sony Ericsson’s are the best for me, who wants total control over the customization options and not be limited to what the phone manufacturer offered. Only Sony Ericssons have that.
Only a week ago, I found another post on a different trading site called TipidCP. Another battery powered charger, only, the seller will include the adapter for Sony Ericsson. She posted a picture of the supported adapters, and my heart literally jumped a beat when, I saw one for Sony Ericsson (fast port).
I ordered right away, paid for it and received it yesterday. It was awesome. They are basically the same, only difference is between the size and design and weight. The first one (black) , is taller in height and bigger in circumference. It’s also heavier. Aside from that, they’re the same. Same jack, same input (1 AA battery).
It’s a really cool toy, fit for emergencies. It’s even more fun if you have rechargeable batteries, since you won’t be spending too much. But then again, it’s simply for emergencies, not everyday use.

cool blog!!! I like this one and solardoug.wordpress.com . I love all the solar issues. Keep up the great work our planet deserves it. It’s been great to us and let’s be great to it. It’s everybodies duty to chip in and help mother earth. Alternitive energy is the least we can.
