Short synopsis:
John Preston (Christian Bale) is a high ranking Cleric of the Tetragrammaton, master of the art of gunkata. His sworn mission: To prevent the spread of human emotions by any means possible, as they’ve been singled out as the root of all mankind’s atrocities.
But when Preston misses his regular dose of Prozium, a drug that suppresses strong feelings, his world starts to change. He finds himself walking the line between being an agent of the law, and working as a tool of the underground revolution that is trying to bring emotion back to the world.

My opinion:
It’s not a boring movie, but it’s not an interesting one either. If you prefer more action and more fighting and clashing knuckles, this movie would do a very good job of disappointing you.
But still, I watched it quite a few times, and the most compelling reason for that, no matter how lame it might sound to you.. is because I like Christian Bale’s hands. No kidding. They’re pretty.
All in all, if you prefer something more emotionally engaging, I don’t recommend this at all.
